Real World Projects for Students

As part of the Academy Curriculum, students must layout, calculate, submit, survey, and list real projects from real contracting offices. The time they spend working on these projects is part of the lab hours established within the certificate and degree programs.

Students will be expected to learn to use the same software programs that are used by the company providing the real-world projects. They will stay in close contact with the contractor for the entire life of the project, through the Director of Work/Study.

If you are a contracting firm, you could have students work on projects for your firm. Since this is the most important difference between the Academy and any other program yet offered, you would be making an incredibly valuable contribution by sending work to the school. All work would be professionally managed by the Director of Work/Study. The fees associated with this work would be used to ensure the success of the not-for-profit Academy.
