Associates Degree

The Academy is privileged to help create the curriculum for the Sprinkler System Technology Program at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois.  They award an Associates' in Applied Science - Construction, Design, and Management for the students completing their program.  You can view Parkland's Catalog and the SST Class Schedule by clicking here

This is a two year degree program that includes courses in English, Math, Business Communications, Fire Sprinkler System Design, Construction, and Computer Aided Drafting courses.  Parkland College's Program Manager in the Engineering, Science and Technology department will handle your counseling advising for the Sprinkler Systems Technology Program.

Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.)

Minimum graduation requirement – 69 credit hours


The Sprinkler System Technology program prepares students for careers involving the layout and detailing of automatic sprinkling systems which must meet existing and proposed code and statutory requirements. Topics covered include physical sciences, advanced hydraulics, applicable codes and standards, and contract administration.
