Application Information

Step 1 - Apply to Parkland College

You may do so by going to https://pcweb.parkland.edu/admissions/ or request a packet by emailing est@parkland.edu or calling 217-373-3838. When applying, for box number 12, your program code is "ESST AAS."

Step 2 - Complete Academy Application

After applying online you will be sent an Academy application. If you would like to fill the Academy application online you may do so by completing the following form.

Step 3 - Mechanical Aptitude Test

Once we recieve your Academy application, you will be contacted regarding the Mechanical Aptitude Test.  Every new student must take this test.  It is not a pass/fail test; it is simply a gauge of your mechanical aptitude and, therefore, a marker for your success in this program.  The test results will help the instructors understand the best ways to deliver this program especially for you.
